As we are passing through unprecedented times, and India is going through a second wave of COVID19, we as organizers understand it well and are trying to monitor the update from the Central and State Governments in India. Also taking into consideration of current government guidelines we are also trying our best to make this conference beneficial for all authors. Now considering the dates are near for ICT4SD 2021, after understanding the policies for Government of Goa & Government of India for conference gatherings and further due to prevailing situation, the ICT4SD 2021 committee has taken a decision to move ICT4SD from Physical to Digital Mode. However as the registration process is almost near to completion, in response to travel concerns, the requirement to present accepted papers in person will be relaxed and will allow for virtual presentations. The conference and presentation now will be hosted through online platforms like Zoom or similar. More details on how this will be done will be available on the website.

Every Country in their own way is trying to reopen their economies in a well-defined manner. Government of India is also trying hard to combat these critical times. University Grants Commission, one of the regulators of the Indian Education has issued the advisories to open colleges and universities from 1st August at different modes and segments.

The ICT4SD conference committee thinks positively as well -

HOPE THINGS WILL CHANGE SOON AND PEOPLE WILL GATHER AGAIN.

We are very much concerned that many conference have moved to Digital modes seeing the current situations, further as actual physical conferences provide an opportunity to meet researchers in person and further make new friends, discuss and review our thoughts. On the same note we are going ahead with a hope we will all gather for the conference.

Please note that ICT4SD 2021 will go ahead in July as planned! No changes in venue or dates are currently foreseen. However, we are aware of advisories in India through State and Federal Government and across the globe as well due to pandemic, further we are also monitoring Indian Government measures daily. We will continue to monitor the situation and will post regular updates. In response to travel concerns, the requirement to present accepted papers in person will be relaxed and will allow for virtual presentations. As of now we advise you not to book your travel for the current conference dates might shift with the previlaing situations to make it happen in physical mode or take a needful decision for the well being all authors. In any case all registered authors will have a buffer window of 45 days to plan the travels.

Further regarding the publication, we will move all the registered papers towards publication as per the current conference dates. This will be impactful in not delaying the authors content from publication.

We wish everyone and their families good health and the best of luck in these tough times and we hope to see you for the conference.

HOPE WE WILL MEET SOON LIKE LAST 5 YEARS WE HAD MET AT HOTEL VAVANTA BY TAJ, GOA. WE WILL ALSO CHERISH THE MOMENTS AS WE DID IN PREVIOUS VERSIONS OF ICT4SD.
